Glencoe, ho!

A view down Glencoe from outside the Clachaig Inn Last day at work today before our Glencoe trip so the blog will be a little quite for a week or so.

We are base-camping in the Glen and I’m praying for some dry weather.

Accompanying us will be a first-time Scotland visitor. My other half’s brother is a budding outdoors fan – albeit prompted the antics of Bear Grylls and Canada’s ‘Survivorman’ – and I think the Highlands are going to impress.

Indeed, he was blown away the first time he drove the Woodhead Pass over the Pennines to see us. Stob Dearg and Rannoch Moor should be a jaw dropper, then!
